Production

Kate Moira Ryan’s adaptation of Olga Mukina’s Tanya-Tanya had its first American production at Towson University (in collaboration with the Center for International Theatre Development) on December 4th 2009 and ran through December 12th. This production by the university’s Department of Theatre Arts emphasized the collaborative nature of the theatre. Yury Urnov co-directed the play with by our CEC ARTSLINK and Rosenberg Guest Artists Alexandra Konnikova and Albert Albert, who were in residence with the Towson theatre and dance programs for six weeks. This production also featured members of our undergraduate and graduate programs performing together. The result was a high-energy performance that combined Ryan and Mukhina’s poetic text with movement sequences.
