Production
The Polar Truth, performed at Towson University in collaboration with the Center for International Theatre Development November 12-14th 2009, was the culmination of an undergraduate class taught by MFA student Joseph Ritsch. The production featured a simple, but elegant set designed by Brendan Leahy with the goal of creating a space floating in space- an iceberg. The lonely atmosphere was heightened by original music by Michael Perrie, who was also a cast member. Perrie’s music combined with the constant howl of the wind and snow to create the haunting soundtrack of these teenagers’ lives.
