Education

Since the spring of 2008, the interdisciplinary educational component of this project has included three visits to Towson University from Russian guest artist and scholars, three dedicated courses (one which was a collaboration with the Political Science Department) and two public presentations of Russian plays in readings or scene work. Russian director Yury Urnov’s residency at the university in 09 – 10 continues the project’s interdisciplinary focus with lectures in departments across campus and a film series, in addition to the productions, which will feature post-show discussions from a variety of disciplinary perspectives. The residency of choreographers Sasha and Albert will be shared with the university’s Department of Dance.
