Hysh

Realm of Light

Truth, enlightenment and balance are the ideal state of hysh, the realm is the brightest of all creation where even the darkest depths of its caves and caverns still thrum with enough light to see well. The realm is ordered into ten continents of great grass planes, clean crystal oceans, mountains of perfectly geometric rock. Hysh gives the impression of being perfectly thought out and artistically arranged. No stranger to the darker forces of the realm hysh stands as a beacon of calming transcendent light the people of the realm will do anything to protect. But often its what’s noble for them and them alone. Hysh acts as the sun and daytime for the mortal realms when not eclipsed by its twin Ulgu, raining down warm rays and life giving light.

Tyrion and Teclis

Teclis the Mage god and Tyrion the Martial god twins sense their mortal birth awoke in Hysh after the destruction of the world that was. Tyrion awoke blind and Teclis awoke whole and healthy for the first time In his life. Sharing Teclis’ eyes the twins shaped and formed hysh in their image creating a ordered world of stunning geometric geography. Unlike most of their pantheon the twins found Sigmar before he could find them and their joy at finding something familiar was eclipsed only by their sorrow at the severe lack of elven souls in the realms. They joined the Pantheon and sought out their old foe Malerion and tyrions old flame Alarielle. The ever queen held no intresat in the souls of her old people so the three remaining elven deities sought out the one who held their people in their gullet, Slaanesh. Together with chains made of impossible magic they bound She Who Thirsts between the realms of light and shadow and syphoned their people from her. Teclis spent centuries experimenting to cleansed the corruption of Slaanesh from the souls of his elves and finally succeeded with the Lumineth. Their society grew spiritually, technologically and culturally until they suffered a great downfall due to their hubris. The twins then restructured their people into bastions of faith and discipline to fend off the powers of chaos.

The White Wind

The lore of light is associated with knowledge, transcendence and truth. Wielders of hysh often called hierophants can project beams of pure light energy that can heal and sooth the body and mind, stripping away doubts and fears and clearing the mind. At higher intensities the light can blind, sear or burn corruption or disorder from others. Hysh is about revealing and knowing, channeling it into clarifying thoughts or greater understandings. Much like its dark twin ulgu, hysh can create illusions that project an air of truth and clarity. Unlike its twin, hysh can heal as often as it harms, creating waves of light that purge illness and injury or bound tight into chains of immovable light. In its solid state hysh becomes Aetherquartz which is adept at containing, focusing and dispelling ambient magic, meaning it burns with energy when made into weapons, clears thoughts when worn and even drains negative emotions when directly exposed or injested aetherquarz provides a “enlightened” state of mind causing ease of mental fluidity. However, if aetherquatz is not purged of the corruption and negativity it absorbs it…. explodes, violently, like a nuke and over use of the substance can leave a person itching for the feeling like an addict.

Mortal Life

Hysh is largely untouched by chaos and held in the firm hand of the lumineth as such their ruel truly is law. They practice paths of life they call the Hysh-Mhensa that guide their role and temperament. Enlightnment is their main focus and so five nations follow Tyrionic teachings and five follow Teclian teachings exalting the prowess and might of their gods that lead them to connection with the land and spirits there in. Respect for nature is paramount in hysh because the spirits of the mountains, winds and waters all live along side those who shape their true forms. I would warn you however, dissent is not taken lightly.
