Why this website exists and why it matters.

This platform was established to reestablish recognition for the numerous Black and Brown innovators whose achievements have been obscured, misattributed, or suppressed by historical censorship.

From science and medicine to the arts, technology, and everyday life, these people influenced the world in ways that textbooks, media, and institutions frequently fail to recognize. This initiative attempts to respect their legacy by compiling verified accounts, timelines, and visual archives, challenging the narratives that omitted them, and providing a forum where truth takes precedence over omission.

"Recognition equals repair, and history deserves no less."
