4th Dimension
The mathematical extension of the concept of 3D space and the limit to the observable universe.
4D Minecraft. Visualization Experiment
The video presents a version of Minecraft reimagined in four spatial dimensions. Instead of the usual 3-D world, this “4D Minecraft” lets you explore and build in a 4-dimensional space, meaning there’s an extra spatial axis beyond what we normally perceive. As you move or “rotate” through the extra dimension, the 3-D slices of the world you see can change drastically: caves might unfold into forests, objects might appear or disappear, and even simple actions like chopping a tree can feel bizarre because parts of the world now exist outside your current 3-D viewpoint.
Interdimensional Encounter with 2D Creature. What That Means for 4D Beings
Tibees explains the 4th dimension through analogies, distinguishing between time as the fourth dimension and four spatial dimensions. The four spatial dimensions would allow for concepts like a 4D creature stealing a gem from a safe without a key, seeing inside 3D objects, and a 4D object like a hypercube existing. For a 3D object to become its own mirror image, it would need to be rotated in the fourth dimension, a feat impossible in 3D space.
