I chose to take Design for the World Wide Web II because web design is a current ksill I lack in. When it comes to art creation, I am accustomed to using traditional mediums to create my imaginations rather than doing so on a computer. I hope to gain some knowledge and also use my graphic design skills to help me come more well-rounded in other subsets of graphic design I would've never known otherwise. I am great with Adobe apps, but I feel that learning how to design using only coding language will help me in the long run when I decide to make my own website one day.
While taking this class, I learned so much about the limitless opportunities that web desugn can have for a graphic designer. Not only would this mean I could design websites, but I could also learn how to improve clients' website layout, color palette, and any other elements on the page. Patience is key, and this class is no different than learning how to use a tool for the first time: You just have to do it.
