Welcome to the Museum of Historical Cat Art
The Museum of Historical Cat Art is the first dedicated museum entirely to historical pieces containing the feline form. Close relationships with cats were first discovered over 9000 years ago. A human-cat double burial on the Mediterranean island of Cyprus was discovered and is currently the earliest known evidence of the cohabitation between humans and cats. Ancient Egypt is accreddited with giving us some of the first artwork renditions of our bond with our feline friends. Discover our museum and learn more about the history of the domestic cat.
