Sleep Disorders

Like most things there can be problems that can come up with sleep. Problems that majorly effect sleep are called Sleep Disorders. Here are some of the most common sleep disorders.
Insomnia
A sleep disorder where the person is unable to fall asleep.
Treatment: Improving sleeping habits and going to therapy. Sleeping pills might be recommended.
Sleep Apnea
A sleep disorder where the person stops breathing for a period of time, while they are sleeping.
Treatment: Exercising and focusing on weight loss or going to therapy.
Restless leg syndrome (RLS)
A sleep disorder where a person has the strong urge to move their legs.
Treatment: Maybe treating an iron deficiency or other lifestyle changes.
Hypersomnia
A sleeping disorder where the person is unable to stay awake during the day.
Treatment: Getting prescribed stimulants by a doctor to stay awake. Another treatment is changing your hygiene and other lifestyle habits. Also reducing anxiety also helps.
Circadian Rhythm Disorders
A sleeping disorder where the individual’s Circadian rhythm is messed up. This causes sleep-wake cycle problems, which makes the individual unable to sleep and wake at the right times.
Treatment: Changes to ones lifestyle or therapy or medication form a doctor.
Parasomnia
A sleeping disorder where the individual’s Circadian rhythm is messed up. This causes sleep-wake cycle problems, which makes the individual unable to sleep and wake at the right times.
Treatment: Changing sleep schedule and get medication from a doctor
