This year the Bavard Art Show is centered around the art of cake design. We found many different artists who have been experimenting with unique ways to show art through cake design. Some have to do with conceptual art and some with abstract art. Each of these cakes has an unexplored story behind them and we are excited for you to try and figure out what that might be!

A few of the artists that are featured in this year's show are Brooklyn-based cake designer Amy Yip, who specializes in "mossy" and "carved" cakes and owns "YipStudio". Another artist featured is Moscow bakery-based cake designers Madina Yavorskaya and Rustam Kungurov who are siblings and founded their bakery "Tortik Annushka". Another person featured is award-winning cake artist Sona Karapetyan who specializes in wedding cakes.
