About Me:

Hi everyone! My name is Rachael Thompson and I'm a senior at Towson University. I'm majoring in Art + Design with a concentration in Graphic Design and minoring in Business Administration. Growing up I loved being creative. I was always drawing, painting, or doing other arts and crafts. Once I got into high school I decided to pursue art futher and took a drawing class in my freshman year and painting classes during my sophomore through senior year. While in my senior year I had the opportunity to take a class that my art teacher created based on her daughter's first semester of college as a graphic design major. This is where I was first introduced to graphic design and the various Adobe programs. I loved this class so much that I decided to pursue graphic design in college.

I am also a cheerleader at Towson University. It is my fourth and final year on the team! I have been cheering since I was 7 years old. I have cheered for many different sports including football, men's and women's basketball, volleyball, and gymnastics. I have also have been competing since elementary school. Last year, my teammates and I placed third at the UCA National College Cheerleading Championship!

In my free time I love spending time with friends and continuing to be creative. Besides graphic design I love photography, UX/UI design, and fine art. I hope to be able to pursue these other aspects of art more in the future.
