Yoshitomo Nara

Yoshitomo Nara is a Japanese artist. He lives and works in Nasushiobara, Tochigi Prefecture, though his artwork has been exhibited worldwide. Nara has had nearly 40 solo exhibitions since 1984. His art work has been housed at the MoMA and the Los Angeles County Museum of Art. He is best known for sculptures, drawing, and paintings of cute animals and children that on closer inspection appear menacing. The style of his artwork is often associated with popular culture, from manga and anime to the graphics on music album covers, but it equally engages with Japanese visual traditions and Western Modernism.



Nicole Eisenman

Nicole Eisenman lives and works in Brooklyn, New York. She is a MacArthur Foundation Fellow and was inducted into the American Academy of Arts and Letters in 2018. Her work was included in the 2019 Venice Biennale, 2019 Whitney Biennial, and 2017 Skulptur Projekte Münster in Münster, Germany. Having established herself as a painter, Nicole Eisenman has expanded her practice into the third dimension. Nicole Eisenman has addressed issues around gender, race, violence, and inequality for over three decades, in a practice that combines raw emotion with a dark humour.



Tyler Mitchell

Tyler Mitchell is a 23-year-old, NY based, filmmaker and photographer. With firm roots in Atlanta. Having recently graduated from Tisch, NYU, he uses his work as a way to evoke conversations about “innocence, and truth in the lives of black people,” which earned him a spot on 2016's Dazed 100 list. Mitchell draws out the vulnerability in his subjects from Cuban skaters to Texan rapper, Kevin Abstract, and has shot campaigns for Marc Jacobs, Givenchy, and Converse, to name a few. Most recently he photographed the cover of Teen Vogue featuring Emma Gonzalez, Sarah Chadwick, Nza-Ari Khepra, and Jaclyn Corin - the new faces of gun reform.
