My name is Quarn Wright, but I prefer to go by Que . I am currently a senior at Towson University studying Graphic Design for a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree (B.F.A.). I currently have an Associate of Fine Arts degree after graduating from the Community College of Baltimore County (CCBC) in Spring 2024. My expected graduation date at TU is during the Fall 2026 term. I am also a Graphic Designer at IKEA with over 5 years of career experience. While in my role, I have been able to strengthen my knowledge and skills in graphic design, take on leadership opportunities, travel to other locations in the region to offer physical graphic support and work completely solo without a present leader or supervision for almost a year; working as the sole lead of all graphics operations. During that time, I also produced wall graphics for IKEA at the Home & Garden show in Timonium, MD, where we later won an award for Best in the Show 2025, and was behind a complete build-up for a brand new IKEA Plan & Order Point store, which involved lots of graphics production and implementation.
I am attending this course because it is required, however, I am interested in learning more about web design and strengthening my web design skills. To be very honest, Web Design I was very challenging for me, but now that I have a little more experience, I expect to succeed in level II. During this course, I hope to learn more about Figma, Framer, WIX, html, css and more. I also hope to create portfolio worthy results that will benefit me when seeking careers in the graphic design field. After succeeding in this course, I plan to apply my knowledge in web design as I pursue future career roles in graphic design. I am excited for the opportunity to learn more about web designing and look forward to attending this course.
