OctOPUS

Introduction

Overview

Octopi are of the class cephalopod, which translates from Greek to "head-foot." A cephalopod is a creature whose head transitions directly into its limbs, which includes the octopus.

Octopi have a relatively short lifespan, but grow extremely fast during the time that they are alive, requiring them to eat at a faster rate as well. Octopi also have the ability to change not only the color but also the texture of their skin to match and blend in with their surroundings.
