The letter codes for the topics - A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H, I - refer to the course outline sections; these letters are also used to connect the references in the bibliography to course sections. HIS means "Honor in Science", OBAS means "On Being a Scientist", links will take you to other sites, and other references are to the collection of readings for the course.
