Welcome

Hello! Salve ("Hello" in Latin.) My full government name is Kintrez N. (N for No Middle Name) Fowlkes, and I go by Trez or Kintrez; it doesn’t matter. I'm born and still raised in Baltimore, Maryland est. May 1st, 2003. I’ve been drawing since I was five, so I originally wanted to stick with Drawing. However, as I started to branch out into other mediums, drawing would be the backbone to them all, helping me come up with different concepts and ideas. This website contains pieces that I've done over the years (2020-present day) as a homage to the amount of work I've done and creative outlets I've experimented with. I hope that you enjoy this website as much as I did making it for you!

Traditional Work

I remember when I first started taking drawing seriously in 2019 after 3 major losses occurred in my family. I wasn’t sure what, who, or even where I wanted to draw. Back in high school, I would collect copying paper to draw on, which didn’t last long, because I would lose those pieces so easily. My art teacher gave me a notebook, which I experimented with the most with portraits. Here and there I would draw in class to take my mind from school and express the control I have with my own life. People would gravitate towards me with these drawings, asking for commissions, and even having my art decorate the different halls of the school. I remained quiet throughout my high school years, but my art always spoke for me to even landing an interview with my school and a commission done for the president. Drawing was my first creative outlet, which I explored freely.

Most of my works are inspired by culture today, whether that’s music, sports, or just prominent figures that I gravitate towards. I would call my work my “Personal Photoshop”, as this was before I knew how to use Photoshop and would draw in any additional elements I wanted to make the piece original. As I’ve drawn many celebrities over the years, these pieces listed below stick out to me the most with most of my work consisting of African Americans. I hope you can spot some notable faces there! Digital Work

The original plan was to stick to drawing. However, you can’t do much with a Drawing degree. I started doing YouTube my freshman year, with that came me editing my videos and some of the videos for the bros and I’s group channel. I dove into creating videos as a form of getting myself out of my quiet shell and being comfortable with talking to the world, as I didn’t want to be my lowkey self that I was in high school. In my early experiences of video editing, it was essential for me to take Graphic Design classes to learn more features of Adobe other than Premiere Pro and Photoshop, as my brother Justin and I would compete on video editing, often being the top of our classes. Over the years, I could not vision myself getting into poster designs, logo designs, thumbnail design, etc. So. Here’s a few pieces that I have of my digital work that I’m proud to have produced.
