SYNOPSIS:
A study of space along the frozen Lake Michigan shoreline of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Inspired by Lao Tsu's Tao Te Ching and intended for gallery exhibition -- where the video plays on an endless loop -- Ice-Bound is designed as a meditation on perceptions of vastness and nothingness in the natural world as encapsulated in a small strip of land occupied by little more than a flock of ducks and a beached boat frozen to the shoreline until the spring thaw.
