MMMA presents a series of videos and sculptures that examine the liminal space between object and subject. Drawing from a range of influences including rave culture, combat sports and the semiotics of pattern; CCA looks at shapeshifting in social structures, and the social cues and gestures that are rendered passable in each structure.

Using the media of print, photography, video, installation, and performance, the artist focuses on the formation and dissemination of visual symbols in various cultural contexts. He deconstructs visual symbols and recreates them through appropriation, collage, and the creation of ironic narratives, and uses them to explore larger issues such as consumerism, technology, tradition, and politics.
