My name is Elizabeth McFadden, but I go by Libby. I am studying Graphic Design here at Towson because I have grown up loving creativity and the designs in the world around me. I am taking this class because I want to expand my knowledge on coding, specifically in html and css. Throughout this semester, I want to fine tune the baseline knowledge I have about coding. Outside of class, I will be painting, reading, traveling as much as possible, and going to concerts. Additionally, I will be working at the clothing store Free People a couple times of week. I was born in Fairfax, Virginia but grew up in Annapolis, Maryland. The links below will take you to some websites that show parts of my life.
Click here for where I workThis art exhibition will focus on transformative works of three different yet influential artists. The exhibition will be called Chroma Alchemy, which describes the intensities of colors combined with the transformation of elements that these artists use. The three artists that will be included are Yayoi Kusama, James Turrell and Judy Chicago. These three artists create installations, light sculptures and vibrant pieces, which will all be included in the show. The exhibition will be held in New York City at the Color Factory Art Gallery, because it has a large amount of space that will complement the diversity of the artists works and bring in guests with a love for the vibrant art scene. The overall color scheme of the website will include a careful blend of colors inspired by the palettes used by each of the artists. This careful use of color will be applied minimally against a more neutral and minimalistic site, giving the artworks more room to breathe and creating a more user friendly and uncluttered page.
