CALL FOR PAPERS - Kalamazoo '11


Every year the Texas Medieval Association sponsors a number of sessions at the International Congress on Medieval Studies in Kalamazoo, Michigan. These sessions are open submission, and you do not have to be a TEMA member to participate in one. The Association will sponsor the following eight sessions at the 46th International Congress, May 12-15, 2011. For more information about a session, contact Don Kagay at dkagay1@netzero.com

Rules for Submission: Please note as the procedure now requires submission of an Abstract Cover Sheet

  1. Papers should be designed to be 20 minutes long; audiovisual equipment and assistance is available if indicated at the time of submission of the abstract.
  2. Papers submitted will be essentially new and will not have been presented in public before.
  3. Abstracts should be typed, double-spaced, not more than 300 words in length, and clearly indicate the paper's thesis, methodology, and conclusions.
  4. Abstracts must be accompanied by a completed Abstract Cover Sheet, available here (Adobe .pdf file) or here (Word file). Complete online, print out, and fax or post.
  5. The deadline for receipt of abstracts is September 15, 2010. This is a firm deadline; no paper received after that date can be considered for the 2011 Congress.
