NOTE: TEMA's official website is now located at http://www.texasmedieval.org.

Please go to that site and bookmark it for all future TEMA communications and updates. I have retired, and my university will soon be deleting this website. It has been my pleasure to serve as TEMA's webmaster since setting up this site in 1995, but the time has come to pass it on. Thanks to all of you for your cooperation and support over the years.

Welcome to the home page of the Texas Medieval Association (or TEMA, for short). You should be able to find everything you need to know about the Association on this site. If not, contact TEMA Secretary/Treasurer Don Kagay at dkagay1@netzero.com.

Since 1986, we have served medievalists not only throughout the state of Texas, but also nationally and internationally through our conferences and publications.

A regional affiliate of the Medieval Academy of America, we hold an annual conference each fall somewhere in the state of Texas. The 2011 meeting will be at Baylor University in Waco, September 30-October 1.

We also sponsor sessions each May at the annual International Congress on Medieval Studies in Kalamazoo, Michigan, as well as each July at the International Medieval Conference in Leeds, England.
