About Me

My name is Callie Shad. I'm a 21 year-old junior graphic design student attending Towson University. I'm inspired by all forms of art and design- especially typefaces, magazines, collages, photography, and prints. My art often draws inspiration from natural and organic elements, as well as my relationship with the digital world. I tend to make collages, patterns, and illustrations. As of now, I would ideally like to go into the packaging design field post graduation, but life may take me elsewhere so who knows.

I grew up in historic Ellicott City, Maryland, and artistic expression has always been a mainstay in my life. Currently I live in Towson with my terrible orange tabby cat, Hobbes (we're like Calvin and Hobbes, but Callie and Hobbes). In my free time I love to travel and explore the outdoors, spending time with my partner and friends, as well as just chilling out with the Sims and some music.
