Hello, my name is Britney Figueroa and I am a Graphic Design Student at Towson University. I transfered from the College of Southern Maryland where I earned an Associates Degree in Liberal Arts. Now I am a 4th year/Junior planning to graduate Spring 2023.
I grew up in Long Island, New York with three older brothers and an older sister. With my dad being an Air Force vet, at 12 years old my family moved to Hawaii and then we moved to Southern Maryland. In my free time I enjoy binging TV shows, watching movies, listening to music, biking, crocheting and spending time with family.
"Pencil Exhibition" is a poster set I designed in my Graphic Design 1 course. The goal was to choose a random object and design two exhibition posters. One is imaged based while the second poster is text based.
"Help End Hawaii's Homeless Crisis" is a campaign I designed in my Graphic Design 1 course. The goal was to choose a social issue to advocate for in a poster, buttons, Instagram post and Instagram story.
"Asia in Maryland" is a set of small exhibition posters that focuses on typography. The goal was to utilize the same content and emphasize a poster on text, date, and head.
"Upcycle" is a made up company website I designed using Adobe XD. This site is meant to advocate for upcycling and bring awareness to the issue of fast fashion. I designed a prototype for both mobile and desktop.
I created my portfolio website using Wix. You can click the link to visit my website!
