NET ART

---According to Net Specific, Net Art is an elusive and sometimes anarchic art form which uses the Internet as its primary material. Net Artworks often draw on data from other Internet materials and websites, which give them their distinctive dynamics.--

--Every artist is different and the work can be minimal or chaotic with images, text, and/or coding. Net Art roughly dates back to the early 90s/early 2000s when the internet was being used widely amongst many. Today, internet art is created not only for a computer/desktop, but for mobile and tablets as well.--

-Below I have a few examples of Net Art.----

-This first site is done by an anonymous artist who goes by yyyyyy.info. Their website is different every time you click on their link or refresh their page. Their page is filled with memes, GIFS, random sentences and code placed randomly all over. This page is almost like a scavenger hunt. Amongst all of the randomness, only a few of the images and/or text are clickable which will either play a sound, take you to a new page, have a new GIF, or sometimes it’s a page that goes nowhere with a black screen.---

-This website is very random and done by an anonymous artist. The home page has emojis along with words paired with it. You can click on a word and it’ll bring you to another page that is randomly designed as well. Some are continuous and others are just a simple GIF or design with fun coding.---
