About The Artist
I would describe my style as maximalist and full of color. I pull lots of inspiration from the 80’s new wave moment, the early 2000’s, Japanese fashion magazines, and video game advertisement. All containing cool and interesting illustrations and patterns. My dream job would be working designing magazines or package design (Hire me Nintendo).
I believe the world of advertisement and design has fallen into a minimal and honestly rather boring aesthetic. It lacks the flare decades earlier had when showing off something new and now feels more like an afterthought. This is a problem my fellow upcoming designers have noticed, and they would agree this cannot continue.
My goal is to create interesting and fun designs that someone my age in the future will want to cut out and paste into their scrapbook. For people to continue to feel excited about new toys, makeup, games, and fashion when they are advertised online.
