Laura Meseguer

A type designer/graphic designer based in Barcelona, Spain. Known for her typography, in this exhibition we highlight two distniguished ones: Fabulosa and Sisters. Meseguer has her own studio, Laura Meseguer Studio, where she produces "custom lettering and type for brands, cultural institutions and publishers". She continuously travels conducting workshops and giving lectures on type design and lettering at educational institutions, and events, such as the Kerning Conference, and ATypI. Meseguer has been recongnized by the design community through "her work having won certificates of excellence from the Type Directors Club of New York and the Laus Prizes from the ADG-FAD in Spain." She was also recognized "for paving a path in the typographic world in Spain" in 2018 when she got the Premio Gràffica.

Sandra García

A Graphic Designer and Typography teacher based in Mexico. She has designed numourous typefaces that are vibrant and unique. In this exhibition we display a few of her projects: AnaDiego, Sandhouse Display, as well as her brand/logo concept project for Pirekua, a Mexican artisan store. García is a co-partner at Tipastype, an independant type foundry and design studio in Mexico. They develop retail and custom typefaces and work on typographic design projects for clients. She has more than 10 years of experience in teaching typography and editorial design at the Universidad de la Comunicación (College of Communication) in Mexico. In 2017 she received the Clap International award for her project, "Xantolo, a font for children's publications", and spends her time speaking at international and national conferences.

Dafne Martínez

A Graphic Designer and Typographer based in Mexico. She is a co-partner of Tipastype, with Sandra García. An independant type foundry and design studio in Mexico. They develop retail and custom typefaces and work on typographic design projects for clients. She has also spoken at international conferences, such as: ATypI Tokio 2019, Caro y Cuervo 2020, and Typographics 2020. Martinez is also a part of the Mexican Society Calligraphers and Illuminators.
