Abstract
In this talk, I will introduce several funded projects in the area of
cyber-physical systems and security. Particularly, I will first present a
framework to systematically explore the space of threats in the smart grid and
understand their impacts on both system operations and end users, as well as the
development of both protection and detection mitigation schemes to deal with
these attacks. I will then introduce other research areas, including network
management protocols in mobile ad hoc networks, network sensor-based framework
for network security applications, cloud-based threat monitoring and detection,
and transportation cyber-physical systems.
