Lab 11: Term Project Proposal

Carefully read the task Term Project (Lab 15 Handout). Prepare and submit a term project proposal. You can discuss your project ideas with the instructor in class or by email.

Grading Criteria

Your grade will depend on the following points.

  1. A project proposal submitted via e-mail to your instructor.
  2. If two students are working together, only one proposal is needed, but that proposal should clearly indicate the full names of all students (max 3) working on the term project.
  3. The proposal must answer the following questions:
  4. Is your Final Term Project going to be a Flash Movie or a Website?
  5. What is the title?
  6. What coherent message or story will your project deliver?
  7. A significant application of the technical elements and skills from the course laboratory assignments will be required. List some of the technical elements and skills you would expect to use in the proposed project.

Your Term Project for the course will be worth twice the amount of points as a regular weekly lab assignment.  As such, the final project must be bigger, better, and more creative than one of the weekly assignments.  See the handout for Lab 15:  Term Project for additional information.
