About Me

My name is Thomas Tucker III, but my friends call me Tommy. I was born on March 26, 1999 in Baltimore, Maryland. In 2017 I was accepted into Towson University. At Towson, I joined the Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu club my freshman year and have been a member ever since. The major I chose initially was International Business, along with a minor in Spanish. For a while I was content with this but as my graduation date grew closer, I became more anxious about deciding a career path. Ultimately I decided to take a gap year to figure things out a bit, and when I returned to Towson I decided to change my major to Design Studies. I chose this major over business because I felt as though the courses in this major would be more focused on developing useful skills, which is essential for applying for jobs. I feel ten times better about this major because I have a much clearer idea of what opportunities are available to me. I will be graduating in the Fall of 2023.
