About Erik Ravelo
Erik Ravelo is a Cuban multimedia artist who’s work wraps tightly around raising awareness of social issues around the world. He is currently a Creative Director for Fabrica and the author of numerous social campaigns for clients such as the Benetton Group, The United Nations, The World Health Organization, The Guardian and Reporters Without Borders. Ravelo's work has continuosly received massive contraversy and backlash from certain organizations.
Some of his most famous and recognizable works are a photography project titled "untouchables" which is part of a campaign calling attention to the mistreatment and abuse of children around the world. His work is generaly highly political and because of this Ravelo receives a tramendous amount of contraversy about his projects.
