The Ultimate Fighting Championship–also known as the UFC–has grown from an eight-man tournament to one of the biggest sports organizations in the world over the past 25 years.

However, one thing remained consistent for the UFC over their first 20 years in business–women were not given a chance to compete on their sports highest stage. Mixed martial arts fans need to get behind these athletes and one way to do that is by being informed about who these women are.
