Hello! My name is paige :), I am studying Graphic Design here at TU because I knew I wanted to be an art major just didn't know what type of art I wanted to do. I was originally a Ceramics major and got bullied out of that but I still do pottery for fun. I am taking this class because it is required. This semester I'd like to learn to properly center my images, make my webpages more responsive, and how to make elements move with the webpages.

Outside of class I like to doodle, cook, go to the ceramics studio on campus, and I love to hike and go camping. Right now I work as a barista at a coffee shop Rise Up in Arnold, I love it there. I am also looking for summer internships.

I am from Pasadena Maryland.

For my project 1 I am thinking about using the Rolling Stones "Unzipped" exhibition. It includes over 400 personal peices from the band including costumes, stage designs, diaries, posters, album covers, film and more. It was on display at the Groninger Museum in the Netherlands from June 30th 2023 to January 2024.Some artists and brands that contributed to the show are Andy Warhol, Alexander McQueen, Prada, Dior, and Martin Scorsese. I cannot find pieces labeled with artist names at the moment but I am hoping to find some while looking more into the exhibition. I chose this exhibiton because it is different than most fine arts exhibits. I like that it includes history and culture in it and a lot of really personal insight on the band. Below are some images from the exhibiton and an adversitsment I found to use for some design inspiration.
