DISCOVER NET ART

Combining Art and the Internet

What is Net Art?

Net Art is a form of art created and shared online. It uses the internet and digital tools to explore different ideas about technology, culture, and the way we live in the digital world. This type of art can include websites, videos, interactive projects, and even social media posts. It’s different from traditional art because it’s made for the internet and often invites people to interact with it. Sometimes, Net Art is fun and playful, while other times it can make you think about how we use technology in our daily lives.

What's the history of "net.art"?

Net Art started in the early 1990s, right when the internet was becoming more popular. Artists began using the web as a new way to create and share their work, exploring how technology was changing the way we communicate and interact.

What's ASCII Art?

ASCII art is a way of creating pictures using just text characters, like letters, numbers, and symbols. It started back in the early days of computers when there weren’t graphics, so people used the keyboard to make cool images and designs.

My opinion on Internet Art

I actually really like internet art. It’s so different from traditional art because it’s made for the digital world, and you can find it anywhere online. I love how it’s really creative and experimental, like artists are breaking all the rules.
