As a college student, it is common to have times when you feel consumed by stress. While some level of stress is to be expected from juggling classes, homework, and other responsibilites, many students feel such a severe amount of stress that it inhibits their ability to be productive. Students look forward to the weekend as a time to unwind and de-stress, it should also be a time to pamper yourself and reflect on the previous week in order to be prepared for the week ahead. Self-care such as this allows students to get to know themselves, stay stress-free, and set goals for the upcoming week. Self-care is about much more than face masks and candles, reflecting on what causes stress in your life allows you to have a more productive and less stressful semester.
