My name is Fabiola Ortiz-Torres, but everyone calls me Fabi. I’m studying at Towson to be a graphic designer. I’ve always loved art and drawing. I eventually decided that I wanted to pursue art as a career. My uncle is a fellow graphic designer, so I figured that was something I could do. Both of my parents are Puerto Rican, but I was born in Maryland. My family moved around a few times, and I lived in Georgia and New York for a few years until we finally moved to Bel Air, where we’ve lived ever since.
I’m taking this class because it’s a requirement for my degree. I don’t have anything I’d like to particularly learn this semester, but I hope to learn new things about web design. For fun, I like writing, drawing, reading, watching shows and movies, especially anything animated. Other responsibilities I have are helping around the house and other assignments for my other classes, but I’ve never had a job, at least not yet.
