The American Visionary Arts Museum brand identity was a design project for my graphic design III (ART457) class in the fall semester of 2022. The assignment was to create a brand identity for a local non-profit cultural institution. The logo I designed for AVAM was based on the vision of the visionary artists, with the blue eye representing the sky, and the red representing the museum's permanent collection which is in a red room. The building itself also features a window that resembles an eye which I used to inspire my logo. From there I developed a complete brand guide and website.
