MASTERS IN PROFESSIONAL WRITING
WRIT 795: INDEPENDENT STUDY
Prerequisites:
- 6 WRIT courses
- 3.5 GPA in MPW program
- Successful completion of Qualifying Exam
Policies/Procedures:
- Description, in writing, of the intended area of study or the
specific project to be undertaken. This area/project must be one
which is not addressed in the regularly offered courses in the program.
- Approval for the study/project and the consent of a
supervisory professor whose field of expertise coincides with
the undertaking. This approval and consent must be secured PRIOR to the
pre-registration period for the next semester's courses.
- SPECIAL COURSE PERMIT to be signed by the supervisory
professor and stamped by the English Department.
