I grew up in Montgomery County Maryland with my mother and sister. We have moved about 6 times, all within Montgomery County, so I had to make a lot of adjustments growing up. We ended up in Clarksburg Maryland for the longest, where I attended middle and high school. I made 4 forever friends in high school who I continue to talk to every day.
I began my art journey in the begining of middle school, where I recieved a camera for christmas. I began to teach myself how to use different cameras like point and shoots but mainly focusing on DSLRs. After learning about cameras, I enrolled into a Digital Art class in high school where I got to learn the basics of photoshop. I soon got a little bored and wanted to focus on photography. After completing one Digital Art class, I enrolled into photography classes the rest of my high school career.
When I got accpeted into Towson, I knew I was going to attend. While it was the summer before first semester, I had time to think about what art path I wanted to take. My mom suggested I look into Graphic Design, as there are many careers that come from this and is overall what I like to do. I ended up taking her advice, and so here I am. At Towson University, in the Graphic Design program. The only thing I regret is not minoring in photography, but maybe it just wasnt meant to be.
