MASON:
Mid-Atlantic Seminar On Numbers

MASON is a small, friendly meeting of number-theorists and mathematicians from fields related to number theory. Faculty, researchers, and students—both graduate and undergraduate—are welcome to attend and, if they are so inclined, to contribute talks.

MASON is relatively recent—the first meeting took place on October 29, 2016. Starting with MASON II, the meetings have taken place over a weekend in early spring. MASON II was held at Towson University on April 7-8, 2018, and MASON III is scheduled for the weekend of February 23-24, 2019 at the campus of James Madison University. You can find further information about that upcoming meeting at its dedicated website.

At present, thanks to the generous support of the Number Theory Foundation and the NSF, we are able to provide partial travel support to those MASON participants who lack institutional or grant funding. We hope to be able to sustain this in the future!

For more information about MASON in general, please, contact Angel Kumchev or Nathan McNew.
